From livestock to cake decorating, youth, teens and adults are able to showcase their projects. So many great companies are represented and the staff and fair board work hard to make sure everyone has a good experience. If you haven’t been to the state fair you will find there is something for everyone, great food, fun games and exciting entertainment. Our college is also represented at the fair. This year we will have a putting green and our quarter scale tractor along with lots of other good information. Hope to see you at the fair! Go Bucks!”
James said the Ohio State Fair is Fairtastic because, “The best part about the Ohio state fair is the entertainment, they have so many great shows they put on each year, also I like the food, the funnel cakes are the best, seeing my two kids faces would have to be the best part of the whole experience though!”

The OSF is fantastic because it appeals to all generations. From the grandparents who depended on using the draft horses to successfully put out a crop, to the parents who once fought tirelessly in the show arena for that First place ribbon, to the children who walk proud wearing the colors of FFA and 4-H groups across the state as their efforts put forth on projects have now come to an end, and for the little ones who now only see lights and excitement behind what is a great learning experience!
I absolutely love everything about The Ohio State Fair. Food,attraction, shows, displays, butter and all the people.
The state fair is educational and entertaining wrapped into one day. I never fail to learn something and always enjoy the day in everyway. You see the best when at the ohio state fair.

The state fair is a great way to learn about agriculture. There is always something new to learn at the fair. It is great to attend the state fair and meet new friends. You can also enjoy lots of great food. I can taste it now, french fries, grilled corn on the cob, barbecued pork sandwiches, funnel cakes, and elephant ears. What makes the Ohio State Fair Fairtastic is that it can be enjoyed by all ages. We have gone years ago & taken our elderly grandmother; have gone when our kids were little & could only ride the kiddie rides; and have gone 2 years ago with our children and each time there has been something for everyone!! Whether it was the rides, the attractions or the concerts and of course, the fireworks!!!
I have lots of memories from the Ohio State Fair. Whether it was showing Reg. Holstein cattle, Targee Sheep or singing in the Ohio State Fair Youth Choir. Sleeping in the sheep barn, or the Rhodes Center. Having a Bob Evans sausage for breakfast and going to the Farm Bureau Youth square dance in the evening. Seeing the Butter cow, watching the Budweiser Crystals enter the coliseum on the run or sitting in the shade with a new girl you’ve just met, at the ODNR area. Great memories, Great Friendships, Great Fair!
The Ohio State Fair represents all the good in our state and our country. Rewards for hard work; food, fun, and a variety of activities. Our annual trip as a family makes us proud to be an Ohioian!

The state fair is an awesome opportunity to see every year! It is filled with excitement and joy for people of all ages. It is so nice to go from a small county to a large county and be able to compare and contrast the differences and learn something while you are there as well.
The Ohio State fair, along with our local county fair has given myself, along with my family fond memories. Growing up on a dairy farm did not allow much time for vacation, but we never missed the Ohio State fair. From all it has to offer, it was like a vacation! We have made life long friends with being involved in 4H and I’m glad to see that the economy has not taken away the things like the fairs that we all appreciate!

The Ohio State Fair is a great experience for all ages! I especially enjoy the livestock exhibits and the yummy food.
I have been attending the OSF for decades. The thing that stands out for me is the Youth programs such as 4H and FFA. The Youth showmanship contest and the All Ohio Youth Choir and Band. In my opinion, that is a major part of the OSF’s success over the years.
The fair is a great summer tradition in our family, the food, the animals, the displays and the fun suprises make it GREAT!!!
I enjoy coming to the OSF because it offers endless activities going on throughout the weeks. The fair also offers a variety of merchants found across the state, along with a large venue of food and rides to be enjoyed by all.
The Ohio State Fair has so much to offer for families. Our children actually learn while having fun and interacting with the exhibits!
Just makes you proud to be from the great state of OHIO. Exciting to see someone from your home county particapating in the many projects. And of course, the food!
The OSF is great in so many ways. It is anything from the learning experiences to friendships to relaxation and fun! I had the chance to experience this as an exhibitor and hope that one day my child can have the same experiences one day! The OSF offers something for everyone and that is why so many people visit the OSF!

We love everything about The Ohio State Fair, from the livestock exhibits to the choir and band. I have lots of fond memories from my youth as well…sleeping in the sheep barn, staying in the beef dorms, handing out ribbons as the Ohio Hampshire Queen, and exhibiting hogs and sheep. The Ohio State Fair is an educational experience for all who attend!
There are so many great fairtastic reasons to visit the Ohio State Fair -Great food, People who share a passion for agriculture, Fun with our families and friends, and we can’t forget the famous butter cow! The summer wouldn’t be complete without a trip to the Ohio State Fair.
