Mark Thomas is a dairy farmer with some cropland, but he is better known as the former five-time IHRA Alcohol Funny Car World Champion. He raced his way to fame promoting the performance benefits of ethanol all the while. For nearly 20 years, this outspoken farmer used his racecar as a 250 mile-per-hour billboard promoting the ethanol industry through a partnership that began with the Ohio Corn Growers Association nearly 20 years ago.
