Ohio earned some recognition at the American Farm Bureau Federation Annual Convention in San Antonio this week.
Ohio’s Emily Buck, an agricultural communications faculty member at The Ohio State University, was a runner-up in the Excellence in Agriculture competition. Buck will receive a Case IH Farmall 45A, courtesy of Case IH, and $3,000 in cash and STIHL merchandise, courtesy of STIHL.
In addition, Ohio Farm Bureau was recognized for excellence in membership achievement and implementation of outstanding programs in the areas of Education and Outreach; Leadership Development; Member Services; Membership Initiatives; Policy Development and Implementation; and Public Relations and Communications. OFBF also received the Apex Award for outstanding financial support of the American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture.
