Ohio wheat: A tale of two crops

Variable conditions in the late winter and early spring across the state is not the only reason for a wide range of yields coming from Ohio’s wheat crop. According to Seed Consultants Director of Agronomic Services, Bill Mullen, looking back to last fall’s planting dates will provide a sure cause for some great and not-so-great wheat stands as we approach harvest time.
