  1. I’m most looking forward to seeing all of the livestock entries and their exhibitors. (Also, fair food…)

  2. We look forward to seeing the Butter Cow and the Art exhibit and visiting Schmidt’s and getting a corn dog!

  3. Our family is looking forward to taking 4-H projects, watching horse shows, and taking it all in!

  4. I am looking forward to the fireworks and the displays in the Ag & Hort building, especially OSU’s College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences booth!

  5. I am looking forward to taking my four year old to her first state fair.

  6. We are looking forward to the NEW “Agriculture is Cool” event; the Butter Cow (along with the ice cream); and taking a ride on the Sky Glider!

  7. I want to take my 5 year old grandson and our families and show him the butter cow and what grandpa used to do at the fair 50 years ago! My diet consisted of Bob Evan’s sausage sandwiches with pickles and mustard, the best buy on the grounds and lemon shakeups. I can show them the FFA and 4-H Project Displays in the Lausche Building and watch the livestock shows. I will even take him to shake Dale Minyo’s hands and introduce him to the OCJ staff!

  8. I enjoy watching my two sons compete in the Jr Fair hog show. It is our family vacation. There Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles all come to cheer them on. We enjoy setting around the barn socializing with friends you only see at the fair. The butter sculpture is always enjoyable, as well as climbing the ear of corn in the Horticulture building. There are so many things to do and see!!!Can’t wait till Aug. 3rd. Columbus here we come.

  9. A stop at the butter cow for some ice cream and a stroll through the poultry barn

  10. I’m most looking forward to seeing all of the cows!

  11. We will enjoy taking our 16-month old to the nature area to watch the animal shows.

  12. I am looking forward to seeing my girls (4 & 6) faces light up with joy for the rides, the animals, the games, and the food. We don’t have much money so we have never gotten to go on a vacation. Last year we didn’t even get to go to the fair because we didn’t have the money. It would be so great to win tickets because. Don’t really know how we will come up with the money for this year ether.

  13. Since I raise sheep as well as my entire family and all of our friends I’m pretty jacked up for the sheep shows. I’m really even more jacked up to watch my little sister in The Ladies Lead. She does amazing every year and am hoping this year isn’t any different. So I think these tickets should be mine because she got to meet Dale at the Fayette County Fair this week because she was a fair queen attendant, (if was rigged… The rules were changed so a 16 year old girl could run and the 4-H clubs weren’t even allowed to vote like they always have been in the past) I didn’t get to meet Dale and I’m up every morning to listen to the Ohio Ag Net :-). Wow sorry for the rant but GOOD LUCK TO ALL EXIBITORS at the Ohio State Fair.

  14. I enjoy seeing the butter cow every year and all the livestock shows and exhibits. But I think the thing I love the most about the fair is reconnecting with all the great farm families and friends.

  15. I am looking forward to all the exhibits showing all the great things about Ohio. I’m excited to get into the AgHort building and get our picture taken by the Farm Bureau, and all of the state government booths in the MarketPlace.

  16. The livestock shows, kiddie tractor pull, and maybe a little fair food.

  17. I would love to win the tickets to the Ohio State Fair. Honestly we haven’t been there in several years. My daughter and grandson just came home in March to live with me fulltime. She’s been gone for almost 6 years and hasn’t been to the fair since she was a baby. Together we have 4 daughters…. yes 4 daughters. LORD HELP US, LORD help my husband. LOL
    We have a 17, 16, 12, 2 AND a 3 years old grandson. Thank you !!

  18. I love fair time and last year I helped out one day in the Ag/Hort building, really enjoyed that. I like to walk through all barns and buildings, enjoy the Conservation park area… basicaly everything but the rides don’t go near that area. And of course lunch at the Ohio food pavilion 🙂
    Thanks

  19. If we can win tickets, I’m looking forward to taking my kids to the Ohio State Fair for their first time ever!!! We’d love to look at all the livestock and farming exhibits, and the 4-H projects. Great giveaway–thanks for offering it!

  21. I am looking forward to EVERYTHING at the Ohio State Fair. Our county fair is about to begin and we are so busy that it is sometimes hard just to take a step back and enjoy the exhibits on a lovely summers day. Since the state fair has all kinds of livestock shows it is fun to watch something different and of course eat at the Ohio Food Pavilion.

  22. Looking forward to seeing the new facilities at the Sheep Barn

  23. The livestock and the livestock shows .And the remodeled sheep barn .

  24. The Jr. Fair Horse Contesting show, and the dog agility show. My children will be participating in both. Good luck to all of the Jr. Fair competitors.

  25. Looking forward to taking my almost 1 year old to the fair for the first time to see the butter cow! We live in NYC now, but I grew up in Columbus. My husband, also from NYC, never understood my obsession with the Ohio State Fair until we went 2 years ago, and now he agrees: our daughter must experience it! Can’t wait!

  26. I am looking forward to seeing the changes in the fair. I haven’t been there since I was 11. I am now bringing my 11 year old to participate in 4-H judging. We are all excited to come spend the day at the Ohio State Fair 🙂

  27. I’m looking forward to the great food! Especially the corn! I haven’t been back to Ohio in over a year and really miss the sweet corn. I’ve also loved the livestock farms! I’m also excited to spend time at the fair with my family! We try to make it a tradition although we’re scattered throughout different states.

  28. What my family & I are MOST looking forward to this year at the fair is…EVERYTHING!!! It will be our first time coming to The Ohio State Fair & we’re going to try all the delicious foods, rides, shows, everything we can possibly do!!! SO EXCITED!!! 🙂

  29. We love attending the fair, just a fun time, and usually go for 4H judging and looking at all the projects the kids have worked on all year long.
