Benjamin Logan and Riverside attend National Convention 2011

The Benjamin Logan FFA Chapter recently had three FFA members recognized at the National Convention. Congratulations to Breck Finch, Deveon Jordan, and Jacob Stout. They were awarded with the highest degree possible which was their American Degree.

On October 19, 2011 members of the Benjamin Logan and Riverside FFA Chapters recently attended the National Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. Once in Indiana, members visited the Dull Homestead Farm where they toured and saw how an eco friendly plant worked.
As enjoyment, members went to the Incredible Pizza Place and a Blake Shelton Concert. This was a great way to mingle and have a good time. Throughout the week members embraced some of the history of Indiana by touring Indiana War Memorials, museums and President Benjamin Harrison’s house.
As members got to mingle throughout the trip they got to enjoy the “Buckeye Bash.” This was for the enjoyment of all FFA members from the state of Ohio. Members also participated in the national community service project which involved projects at the Jameson Camp and St. Vincent de Paul organization. Members assisted with yard work and were able to accomplish
many tasks in just a few hours. Altogether FFA members “believed” to accomplish the thinkable.
