Oak Hill FFA Beautifying Fairgrounds

By Brittany Hubbard, Chapter Reporter

On July 11-13th, three members of the Oak Hill FFA dedicated their time, and artistic ability, to enhance the visual appeal of the Jackson County Fairgrounds.  These FFA members have taken a step forward as leaders and showed their pride in the Oak Hill FFA Chapter as they painted the FFA emblem on the restrooms, at the Jackson County Fair Grounds. All three of these members are also FFA Officers for the 2012-2013 school year. These three members were Devin Coon (Treasurer), Sydney Strite (Asst. Officer), and Emily Brewer (Asst. Officer).  These members have dedicated over 30 hours into beautifying the Jackson County Fairgrounds over their summer vacation.

Not only have these Oak Hill FFA Officers been busy with painting at the Jackson County Fairground, they, along with the rest of the officer team have helped with landscaping in Oak Hill.  Oak Hill FFA Officers include Mikka French; President, Zack Kiser; Vice President, Kole Strickland; Secretary, Devin Coon; Treasurer, Brittany Hubbard; Reporter, Shane Woolum; Student Advisor, Steven Dunnavant; Sentinel, Emily Davis; Chaplain, Michaela Harden; Historian, Bradley Willis; Parliamentarian, and Assistant Officers Brandon Adkins, Emily Brewer, and Sydney Strite.

The Oak Hill FFA is also starting our annual calendar fundraiser, so please get with any Oak Hill FFA member to get yours today.  Thank you for your support of the Oak Hill FFA Program, Jackson counties finest FFA program.
