During the week of July 14th through the 21st 13 Colonel Crawford FFA students participated in the Crawford County Junior Fair. During the 2011-2012 school year students kept records of their SAE projects. At the fair students were asked questions about their SAE and record books. Many members excelled.

In the Dairy-Beef Feeder division Dalton Hoover placed 2nd in his class. Travis Bogard, Jesse Sellman, and Ashley Geiger also competed in the dairy feeder division. Kendra Hudson had a class winner and a second place with her dairy feeders. Kendra also received champion junior cow, champion senior cow, and grand champion overall dairy cow. She had also won champion dairy showmanship and outstanding exhibitor.
In the market hog division Jessica Millenbaugh had reserve champion carcass hog on foot, reserve champion lightweight barrow, and a class winner. She placed third in the outstanding hog market exhibitor. Andy Crock also competed in the market hog show.
In the market lamb division, Jessica Millenbaugh had two class winners and was the champion senior in lamb showmanship. She also had won outstanding market lamb exhibitor. Cheyenne Johnson had also competed in the market lamb show with a 3rd placing.
Ashton Bell competed in the market goat division as well.
Kate Cramer, Ashton Bell, and Jessica Lohr competed in the market chicken show. Each member did well with their pens.
The members that participated at the fair had taken the skillathon. The members did well and had a good fair year.
Jessisca Millenbaugh, Jessica Lohr, and Kendra Hudson competed at the 2012 Ohio State fair in market beef and dairy cattle show. Jessica Lohr won grand champion carcass steer. Jessica Millenbaugh had a class winner and won showmanship for her age division.
Kendra Hudson competed in the dairy cattle show and did well. Congrats to all of our members on a successful year with their SAE projects!!
