County Parlimentary Procedure Contest

By Jessica Millenbaugh, chapter reporter

On November 20th the County Parliamentary Procedure contest took place.  The Colonel Crawford, Buckeye Central, and Wynford FFA chapters all participated in the contest hosted by Colonel Crawford FFA Chapter.

All students from freshmen to seniors have been learning and reviewing parliamentary procedure.  Parliamentary procedure is the proper way to run a meeting.  Students must learn the opening ceremonies, rules of motions, and closing ceremonies.

The judges were Mrs. Tate, Ms. Guinther, Mr. Schwartz, and Mr. Stuckman. There were 11 teams out of the three schools. Crawford had two freshmen teams, the first freshman team placed 2nd and the second freshman team placed 4th.  The sophomore team placed 6th, the junior team placed 5th and the senior team placed 4th.  Everyone had a great learning experience. We would like to thank our judges once again for their help.
