On Wednesday, November 7, Zane Trace FFA members received a visit from State FFA officer and District 7 FFA President Leanna Bachman. Leanna spent the day with members, teaching the Agricultural Education classes and getting to know the members, as well as a bit about how Zane Trace FFA operates. Leanna taught a collection of different lessons. Her lessons included subjects such as the importance of affective communication, and a lesson that underlined the impact that words can have, especially uplifting words.

“It was great to have Leanna in class with us for a day,” said Audrey Hoey, Zane Trace’s Vice President. “She is very wise and had a lot to share. Her lessons definitely had an impact on me, and I’m grateful that she was able to come and spend time with us.”

Zane Trace FFA Members now share a close and personal friendship with Leanna, and look forward to seeing her at future FFA Functions. Her visit brought Zane Trace FFA members tremendously closer, and the lessons that she shared will continue to affect both members, and the chapter itself.
