Tony Seegers has been named director of state policy for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF).
Seegers will advocate for OFBF members before the Ohio General Assembly and state agencies and departments. He also will provide analysis of legislation and regulation that impacts Farm Bureau members and the state’s agricultural industry.
Seegers most recently was a policy director at the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. Previously, he was an attorney with Wright Law Company, and an assistant attorney general and legislative aide in both the Ohio Senate and House. He is a graduate of Ohio State University and Capital University Law School where he was a member of the Law Review. He and his wife, Kristin, reside in Westerville.
“Tony’s experience in and around state government is going to be very valuable to Farm Bureau members,” said Adam Sharp, vice president, public policy for OFBF.
