Double-crop beans flourish thanks to August rains

When farmers in Ohio opened up soybean fields for the first time this harvest season, many were pleasantly surprised with the numbers coming up on the yield monitors. The same can be said, according to DuPont Pioneer Account Manager Jim Stucke, about double-crop beans in his area of Mercer, Auglaize and Allen counties. He gives Ty Higgins some results of the 2014 harvest season in this week’s DuPont Pioneer Field Report.
