The Ohio Ag Net’s Joel Penhorwood visited Logan County Farmer Doug Henry of Henry Farms to get an update on how their planting season is going so far. Henry said they very much welcomed the warmer temperatures seen over the weekend and that soil temperatures in his area dearly needed the heat.
“It’s nice to have some warm temperatures. That’s what we were looking for. The ground’s warmed up just the way we like it today,” he said. “We started last week and I just looked and we’re at about 500 acres planted.”
