Moisture equals diseases in Ohio corn and soybean fields

When Ohio corn and soybean fields affected by heavy rainfall in recent weeks eventually dry out, it will be too late in the season for replanting. So, the key for 2015 will be protecting what is left to get the most out of harvest. The excessive moisture will pose a greater risk of diseases to add insult to injury. Bayer CropScience Technical Service Representative David Lamore visits with The Ohio Ag Net’s Ty Higgins about what to watch for as you scout your fields for diseases and evaluations that should be made before deciding on a fungicide application.
