Hiland FFA helps bring joy to nursing home

The Hiland FFA Chapter visited the Walnut Hills Living Assistance and Nursing Home residents recently.

When the chapter first got there, they went inside to  greet and pass out cards to the residents, which the chapter made before their Christmas break to help spread holiday joy. The chapter then continued to the Living Assistance section of the nursing home. The FFA chapter passed out cards and wished the citizens there a happy holiday as well.

A few members, and a couple of the Nursing Home residents, took a picture for fun and from there conversations began. After the chapter left the nursing home, they went out to eat at Berlin Farmstead where everyone shared what they learned and expressed their interests to help again.

The FFA members that went to the Walnut Hill were: Seirra Conway, Bailey Engstrom, Nikyta Engstrom, Carson Feikert, Alisha Hershberger, Marlin Hershberger, Natalie Lovell, Hayleigh Scheufler, Alexis Raber, Cheryl Yoder, Diane Yoder, and Maxwell Weaver.
