Still too soon to pull the plug on corn planting

More rains pushed through Ohio over the Memorial Day weekend, keeping farmers out of unplanted fields or fields in need of a replant in the latter part of May. Terry Jones, Regional Agronomist with Brodbeck Seed says as farmers concerns are concentrated on what is not planted yet, they also need to keep on top of what is planted, up and growing. He also says it is not too late to plant corn in 2017. The Ohio Ag Net’s Ty Higgins has more.
