What is the price difference between price and cap mean?
Where does this money go?
The difference is put into the State Fair’s Youth Reserve Program. Funds in the Youth Reserve Program go toward carcass contests, scholarships, the Outstanding Market Exhibitor Program, the Outstanding Breeding Exhibitor Program, showmanship, skillathons, and other FFA and 4-H state fair competition winners. In a nutshell, it goes to support many of the other youth who exhibited at the state fair but didn’t make the Sale of Champions.
