2022 Ohio State Fair Sale of Champions

Dale talked to Madelynn Top, Shelby County. She was the Grand Champion Brown Swiss Jr. Exhibitor and Week 2 Supreme Showman. The Grand Champion Swiss Cheese was sold to represent the seven dairy champions and supreme dairy showmen. The exhibitors were Grand Champion Ayrshire: Logan Topp, Auglaize County; Grand Champion Brown Swiss: Madelynn Topp, Shelby County; Grand Champion Guernsey: Aubree Topp, Shelby County; Grand Champion Holstein: Hannah Griffith, Brown County; Grand Champion Jersey: Blake Greiwe, Shelby County; Grand Champion Red and White: Allison Francis, Darke County; Grand Champion Milking Shorthorn: Christina Headings, Union County; Supreme Showman, Week 1 – Exhibited by: Olivia Finke, Madsion County; and Supreme Showman, Week 2 – Exhibited by: Madelyn Topp, Shelby County. The cheese was purchased by AG Boogher, Turner Grain, and S&S Volvo for a bid of $50,000 – a new record.
The Grand Champion Market Goat was exhibited by Braxton Method of Auglaize County and purchased by Mark and Megan Kvamme and family for a bid of $26,000 – new record. 
The Grand Champion Market Turkey was exhibited by Madison Estep of Madison County and purchased by OKI, Concessions by Cox, SP Plus Corporation, Schmidt’s Sausage Haus, and Expo Services for a bid of $25,000 – new record.
The Grand Champion Meat Chickens were exhibited by Delaney Johnson of Jefferson County and purchased by Kroger Co. and Gerber Poultry for a bid of $31,000 – new record.
The Reserve Champion Meat Chickens were exhibited by Caleb Bennett of Fayette County and purchased by Steve R. Rauch, Inc. for a bid of $24,000 – new record.
The Grand Champion Market Lamb was exhibited by Elizabeth Shatto of Shelby County and purchased by The Kroger Company, Tim and Glenda Huffman, Event Marketing Strategies, Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association, and Talley Amusements for a bid of $47,000 – new record.
The Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb was exhibited by Caleb Stone of Miami County and purchased by Meijer Inc. for a bid of $30,000 – new record.
The Grand Champion Market Barrow was exhibited by Nick Adams, Mercer County, and purchased by Bob Evans, Ohio Farm Bureau Federation, and The Kroger Company
for $66,000 – new record.
The Reserve Grand Champion Market Barrow was exhibited by Mallory Petro of Gallia County and purchased by Mark and Megan Kvamme and family with a bid of $52,500 – new record.
The Grand Champion Market Beef was exhibited by Ryleigh Egbert, Auglaize County, and purchased S&S Volvo by for $225,000 – new record.
The Reserve Grand Champion Market Beef was exhibited by Delaney Jones, Allen County, and purchased by Mark and Megan Kvamme and family and Steve R. Rauch, Inc. for a bid of $100,000 – new record.
