Sun to start the day will be replaced by clouds this afternoon. However, we should stay dry through most of the day. A cold front is working toward the state and will sweep through overnight tonight through mid afternoon tomorrow. A few showers may preclude the front in central Ohio earlier this afternoon, but with minor coverage. Event rain totals should be .1″-1″ with coverage at 90%. Rain done in most areas by midday tomorrow, but showers hold on longer in far eastern and southeastern parts of the state. Clouds break for some sun in western and NW Ohio, but full clearing for the state holds off until tomorrow night.

Sunday we turn out sunny and dry. That pattern will dominate all next week, with full sunshine and above normal temps through next Saturday at least. Clouds may start to build on Sunday the 28th, but we do not expect the next chance of rain to develop now until likely Memorial Day. The map below shows precipitation departure from normal from Sunday through next Saturday (no rain the entire week).
