Ohio Ag Weather and Forecast September 13, 2023

Mixed clouds and sun for your Wednesday over Ohio, with increasing amounts of sun for the afternoon. Humidity levels will be lower through the day and temps will be a bit below normal. Still, the day overall is very comfortable. Tomorrow and Friday we see sunshine dominate as humidity stays low and temps stay cool. Over the weekend we warm up some, and see humidity levels climb a bit. Clouds increase Saturday afternoon, and we end up with a chance of scattered showers Sunday. Rain totals for Sunday will be from a few hundredths to half an inch with coverage at no more than 50% of the state. The map below shows 24 hour rain potential ending at sunrise Monday morning.

Next week will be sunny, warm and dry beginning to end. Temps will be above normal for the week and we expect a bit of humidity as well. Still, we will see significant drying through the week as evaporation levels reach maximum levels Monday through Friday. Next week has potential to be our first big shot at seeing widespread harvest get underway. A system is coming together over the northern plains and upper midwest late next week and it has the potential to throw some showers our direction later in the weekend of the 23rd and 24th.
