Ohio Ag Weather and Forecast, May 14, 2024

Scattered showers move into the state today to kick off a fairly active 10 day forecast window. Rain showers today linger through a large part of tomorrow, especially south and east in Ohio. RAin totals from this event will run from .25″ to 1″ with coverage at 90% of the state. Clouds will try to give way to sun tomorrow middya in NW OH, but will take longer to break in the rest of the state. The map below shows rain activity today through tomorrow.

We will move to precipitation free weather for Thursday. But scattered showers return Friday with totals of .25″-.75″ with coverage at 80%.

The weekend is dry for both Saturday and sunday with a mix of clouds and sun. Showers and a few thunderstorms pop up overnight next sunday night through Monday morning with rain potential of up to 1″ but coverage at only 30%. The balance of Monday turns out partly sunny and that holds through next Tuesday.

Overnight next Tuesday night and Wednesday, scattered showers and storms affect central and SW OH with rain totals up to 1.5″. The biggest rains will come with the thunderstorms. Next Thursday features scattered showers and a few thunderstorms with coverage at 50%, and ran potential of .25″-.75″.
