Ohio Ag Weather and Forecast, July 10, 2024

Showers around through the day today, but we will see the precipitation wind down in intensity this afternoon, if not sooner. Clouds will start to break up tonight. A drier pattern is trying to emerge the rest of the week. However, we stay very warm and very humid. Due to that set up, we can’t completely rule out some heat based instability late in the afternoon/evening either tomorrow or Friday. However, coverage will be minimal overall.

The weekend looks dry with a good deal of sun Saturday, and sun to start Sunday. Clouds increase late Sunday afternoon and we can’t rule out a pop up thunderstorm. The best chances work out to be in westner OH, but we won’t get too cute and rule them out anywhere. Monday will be sunny warm and humid. Tuesday starts with sun, but clouds build, and then scattered showers will be around for Tuesday late through Wednesday and early Thursday as a slow moving front sags southward across the region. Rains are not that impressive, but we still will leave the door open to .25″-1″ and coverage at 60% for the 2 day combined stretch, shown on the map below. Behind the front we are cooler and less humid to finish next week and the 10 day forecast window. We do NOT expect that cool, less humid pattern to last long at all.
