Ohio Ag Weather and Forecast, July 5, 2024

Scattered showers will be around through the day today, but we only end up with 60% coverage, and relatively light totals at .1″-.7″. The best activity will be in central and southern OH, although we won’t rule action out anywhere. The map below shows moisture potential in the next 24 hours.

Tomorrow and Sunday turn out partly so mostly sunny, cooler and less humid. Pleasant conditions all around. We stay dry monday into early Tuesday, but will see temps climb and humidity values along with them. Scattered showers can develop for Tuesday midday and afternoon. Those showers produce half an inch or less over about 60% of Ohio again. Central and northern areas may be in line to see the best chances.

Fully dry weather settles in for next Wednesday through at least Saturday. Temps are warm, but humidity levels stay reasonable. Late next Saturday night and Sunday we see a line of scattered showers lifting up through KY and TN which can throw a bit of a moisture chance into SW and south central OH. However, the moisture is light at .25″ or less, and coverage limited to 20%. The mostly dry, warm pattern is set to continue into the week of the 15th, and heat can intensify through that week as an upper level ridge expands eastward.
