Lingering showers over the state today, especially over the southern part of the state. Clouds start the day in many locations with rain in central and south, but action slides south and tapers off as the day wears on. We see clearing work in from north to south as well as the rain moves away. We should turn out less humid after all precipitation exits the region. Tomorrow turns out partly to mostly sunny and pleasantly warm, although clouds do redevelop overnight .
Scattered showers work through the state Saturday and may linger into early Sunday in the east and south, .Rain totals are not really all that impressive at a few hundredths to half an inch. Weekend potential is shown on the map below. Clouds give way to sun for Sunday, and then we are partly to mostly sunny and pleasant for The first half of next week.
A few scattered showers return next Wednesday night through Thursday midday. Rain potential again stays under half an inch and coverage comes in at only 60% or less. Then back to the drier set up for Thursday late afternoon through Wednesday the 2nd.
