Dry weather again for our Tuesday with sunshine dominant. Tomorrow starts similar with clouds building in northern parts of Ohio late afternoon and evening. We are still watching a system move out of the upper Midwest and into the Great Lakes tomorrow. While the majority of moisture stays north into MI and the Lakes, we wont rule out some scattered showers overnight tomorrow night sneaking down into northern tier counties of Ohio. Action is done and gone by mid morning Thursday. Rain totals will be a few hundredths to a few tenths with no more than 40% coverage north of I-70.
The rest of the week is dry for Thursday afternoon through Sunday. Next week starts similarly for Monday and Tuesday. Temps stay comfortable and sunshine dominates, although more clouds will hang around for this Friday.
Scattered precipitation sags into northern OH next Wednesday, but only with about 50% coverage. Then later in the week, next friday into Saturday, stronger precipitation potential comes to start the Labor Day weekend. We have potential for .1″-.75″ over about 70% of the state, as shown on the map below. But, then we go dry again for the rest of the holiday weekend. The first full week of September keeps temps near normal, but with slightly better potential for pop up showers. Fronts that hit everyone will be limited over the the next 2-3 weeks, as suggested by our near term forecast.
