No change in the nearby forecast. We are mostly sunny, hot and humid the next two days, and we stay quite muggy through the weekend and next week. Showers or thunderstorms are very unlikely the next two days, but cant completely be ruled out due to heat based instability. However, chances for moisture rise significantly tomorrow night through the weekend. Scattered shower and storms are mostly likely Friday afternoon and overnight as well as Saturday afternoon and overnight, but we’ll see action potential every evening/overnight Thursday through Sunday. Combined rain totals come in at .25″-1.5″ with coverage at 80%. An updated map for the time period is shown below.

Labor day still looks a bit cooler, but staying humid. That pattern holds through early Wednesday. The dryness stays through Thursday midday, but temps climb. We will be quite uncomfortable by the end of next week. A front brings showers and storms next Thursday afternoon. Rain potential looks to be up to .75″. Drier air works in behind the front, but temps stay elevated. Cooler air finally arrives for the the middle of the following week, likely around the 16th, but will bring another chance of widely scattered light shower activity. The second half of September looks to be much closer to normal on temps, but a bit below normal on precipitation.
